Kochi Metro KMRL

The Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) is a fastest completed metro project in India. It serves the Kochi which is known as "Queen of Arabian Sea" . It was opened to commuters within 4 years of construction. Also on October 2017, Kochi Metro named as the Best Urban Mobility Project in India. As of now only 1st Phase is operational whereas one is in approved and planned state. On June 17, 2013 Line 1 was opened from Aluva to Palarivattom Metro Station which is almost 13.4 Kms. On October 3 2017, the second 5 Km section from Palarivattom to Maharaja's College metro station was inaugurated. At last on September 3, 2019 another 5.65 Km section from Maharaja's College Stadium to Thaikoodam inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

In Kochi Metro there are 21 currently operated stations from Aluva Metro Station to Thaikoodam Metro Station. The Kochi Metro Timings is from morning 6:00 a.m to 22:00 in the night. There is parking facility and feeder bus service from many metro stations of Kochi Metro.
